BEACH CLEANING
A frequent cleaning of beach and lagoon is done to preserve BEACH CLEANING. Mequfi actively contributes to the frequent cleaning of the beaches and lagoon, to preserve the environment and contribute to cleanliness.
SCHOOL IN NGOMA VILLAGE
RENCO SPA, the Italian company that owns the Mequfi Beach Resort, financed and built the primary school in the village of Ngoma. The school bears the name of Mr. Passeri Antonio, who was president of RENCO SPA. The school welcomes children from 6 to 14 years of age who also come from the surrounding villages. Renco continues to take care of the property with maintenance interventions.
For years Renco has been carrying out social projects in the countries where it works in favor of the health and training of women and children.
HELPO ASSOCIATION
The Mequfi Beach Resort collaborates with the HELPO Association in raising funds for the purchase of school supplies for schools in the province of Cabo Delgado, including the school in the village of Ngoma. Helpo operates in Northern Mozambique (provinces of Nampula and Cabo Delgado), São Tomé and Príncipe and Guiné-Bissau, with local institutions, to achieve sustainable development goals, especially those related to childhood such as education, child health and nutrition.
